Brooklyn Rose Ludlow
Drummer · Composer · Producer
Brooklyn Rose Ludlow is a jazz drummer, composer, and polymath based in San Diego. Her music is rampantly polystylistic, fluently compositing influences from jazz, EDM, prog rock, contemporary classical, and beyond. Some of her compositions incorporate multimedia elements, such as her piece MESOSPHERIC ASCENT夜光雲 for drum set, electronics, and RGB lights. She leads The Brooklyn Rose Future Jazz Orchestra, a 20-piece EDM big band that has been featured in Columbus Monthly and performed for Jazz Arts Group’s Community Jazz Series. She is also a founder of the Future Arts Collective, a decentralized, non-hierarchical organization which aims to grow artistic communities.
